When you look at this world,
What do you see?
Do you see how much I try for you?
Am I who you wanted me to be?
Do I make you happy?
I try so hard to please you.
Everything I do is for you.
Sometimes I feel like you have abandoned me.
That I have done something where I deserve to be alone.
I try to keep my faith,
And there’s days where I wonder why.
But I continue to fight,
Because I know you are worth it.
And though life knocks me down
It is you who picks me back up again.
And I know that someday,
When all is gone,
I will be with you.
Because even through the pain,
