- I was adopted by my Aunt & Uncle when I was 13 years old, along with my 2 younger sisters. We were taken from my mom when I was 8 years old, my mom had set the kitchen on fire while I was at school with my 2 younger sisters at home due to a meth lab.
- I had once dreamed of being a veterinarian. It was something I had wanted to do since I was at least 7 years old. I even attended a vet tech class my senior year of high school.
- I change favorites depending on how I’m feeling. I can never choose one thing whether it be food, color, movie, book, or whatever else people choose a favorite with. My mood has always caused me to change what I favor, one day I might favor the color pink and the next I may favor black.
- I self-taught myself how to play piano when I was 8 years old after my Uncle bought me my first piano along with books. Granted when I was about 17 years old after my parents had put my younger sister into piano lessons I begged for lessons myself, and that’s when I found out what everything I had taught myself was not correct; so I ended up losing interest.
- I had two first jobs the summer after Junior year of high school, granted I had lost one when I had started the third. The first two was a librarian assistant at my local community library, and the second was at Dairy Queen. I ended up losing my job at Dairy Queen right after I had my interview at a Vet Clinic that I ended up shadowing at; lucky for me I had already been given the job before they decided to fire me at Dairy Queen.
- I was engaged right after high school to my high school sweetheart. Shortly after graduation we had moved in with each other, that’s when we discovered we weren’t ready for an adult relationship. We parted ways and had tried to be friends but learned that even though we already knew we didn’t belong together he always seemed to have a hope that we would end up back together. (We never did, and I ended up having to cut him out of my life.)
- I was born and raised in Missoula Montana, though when I was younger my biological parents moved to South Dakota for a few years before I was 5 years old. My parents ended up getting married, then shortly after had my middle sister, and shortly after she was born they decided to get divorced. It was kind of expected though they loved each other they were not meant nor healthy for each other. After they got divorced my Mom brought my sister and I to Montana to live with my Aunt & Uncle; who by the way is her mother’s, my grandmother’s sister & brother in-law, my great Aunt & uncles. Same people who ended up adopting my sisters and I.
- I helped my Great Aunt & Uncle run an egg farm during the summers between 3 & 5 years old. I was the one that technically started by rescuing a chicken that was attacked and left in our yard. I had named her Lucille, shortly after me rescuing the chicken my Aunt went and bought more. And to this day my Aunt raises chickens then sells their eggs.
- My Uncle bought me a Go-Kart when I was around 9 years old on Father’s day, (yes he bought me something on a day that celebrates him). This is what got me into anything fast and with a motor, though I don’t know anything besides the basics about taking care of a vehicle.
- I was 23 years old when I found out that I was going to be a mom, making me the oldest women to have their first baby out of the last few generations in my family. Granted I was scared to death and was far from ready for a baby, I made myself ready with the support of my best friend and now my future husband. (I doubt you’ll read this but you know who you are and I love you more than words could ever explain.)

Hello :)
So I'm Brittney and I'm so excited to have finally found my writing niche; and the best part it's dealing with the exact reason why I took the step of leaving my desk job. I have been searching for ways to serve Christ more, along with trying to find a way to prove to my fiancé that leaving my job to be an at-home mom would be worth it. Granted he is super supportive so he never really had a doubt in me. But I'm so excited to finally have all the sacrifice pay off.
So if you could also help with supporting me by making sure you are following me, sharing my posts, and telling everyone you know about this awesome journey that I invite everyone on, so that they can get to know Christ the way I have.
P.S. Make sure to keep an eye on the About Me page for posts that talk about my life and how I got to where I'm at along with giving stepping stones how I am going to continue walking with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
